Born in Caracas, Venezuela. Schooled in Spain. Switzerland.
1964. Emigrates to Montreal. Studies architecture at McGill University. Works for Moshe Safdie, Jean LaHaye and others. Starts private practice in interior and residential design.
1976. Begins film work. Assistant director/production manager at the National Film Board. Casting director.
1980. Founds Casablanca Productions, a casting agency. Collaborates on over 20 feature films with among others George Kaczender, Robin Spry, David Cronenberg, Mort Ransen and Silvio Narizzano. Later specializes in location scouting.
1996. Workshops with Serge Clément and begins first photographic series siteings.
1997. First solo exhibition at the Eleanor London Library in Côte St. Luc. Begins Squeegee! a series of street people studies. Then Boxed, the first self-portraits.
1998. Invited to participate in group shows at the Mois de la Photo, Galerie Mistral, Galerie Constant, Cinémathèque Québecoise. Published in Matrix (Concordia University – Terry Byrnes editor) and Geist (Vancouver).
2000. Begins By The Red Path, self portrait tryptichs set in the abandoned 19th C industrial complex, Redpath Sugar.
2002. Is published in Spirale Magazine (#182, text by Christine Palmiéri). Invited to participate in Une Traversée de l’Imaginaire, a juried competition at the Maison de la Culture Marie–Uguay (Jean de Julio Paquin, curator).
Begins Marie et Moi.
2003. Solo exhibition at the Maison de la Culture Marie–Uguay. Group exhibition at Espace Alterna_tif. Solo show at Art en Majuscule in Griffintown.
2004. Exhibits at the theatre Usine C and is critically well received ( Henry Lehmann – The Gazette Feb. 7 2004 ).
2012. Begins Some Assembly Required.
2015. Participates in spring, summer and fall group shows at La Castiglione.
